Graphic Design
In my thesis I researched and implemented elements of an integrated graphic identity for the Timber fitness centre. The aim was to update and expand the visual identity to enable the company to stand out in the fitness industry market and to connect with customers.
Timber Fitness Centre stands out with unique features such as its focus on functional training, exclusivity with a personal approach, positive atmosphere, great location and focus on community. Functional training improves everyday fitness and exclusive access allows for a safe and personalised workout.
The space is designed for socialising, members get motivated and create friendships, which contributes to the community.
In the theoretical part, I focused on the concept of corporate identity and its key elements, such as logo, colours, typography, printed material, website, social networks and promotional material. Based on the knowledge gained, in the practical part I developed and implemented new graphic elements for the Timber fitness centre.
In the analysis I focused on market analysis and the fitness industry. As the fitness centre acquired a new identity with the name change, I defined a new target group and SWOT analysis. I used a questionnaire to ensure that the change was well executed in other people’s eyes.
The aim is to match the vision and mission of the fitness with the needs of the people of Maribor.
I also focused on art, design and well-being. I researched the impact of colours on individual well-being and the impact of fitness reminders on client enthusiasm and motivation. I explored how the right choice of colours can influence wellbeing.
In addition to colours, I also looked at the impact of fitness reminders on client enthusiasm and motivation. Reminders, whether visual or audible, can help individuals stay focused on their goals and maintain discipline when exercising.
The final part of the thesis included a comprehensive analysis of the effects of the new graphic elements on visibility and customer identification. This ensured that Timber fitness centre is equipped with a consistent and attractive visual identity that strengthens its position in the fitness market.
