Guest lecture by Denis Živčec, journalist of the Večer newspaper and the Večer.com portal

As part of the Media Communication course of the Media Production programme, we had a guest lecture by Mr Denis Živčec, a journalist from the Večer newspaper and Večer.com.

Denis Živčec has been writing as a journalist for the media house Večer and the Vecer.com portal for more than 15 years. During his student years, he wrote for the magazine Spekter, and in addition to his articles, he has also conducted interesting interviews with everyone from Helena Blagna to Josip Lisac. In this guest lecture, he talked about his beginnings, his work as a journalist and the psychology of the author before and during the writing of articles. He also focused on the economics of articles or what kind of articles are successful, why certain content is paid for and to what extent the credibility of sources is still maintained in today’s digital world.
