Silver award for BTEC School of the Year 2020

In May 2017 the college’s study programmes underwent the first standard verification of Higher National Diploma of Great Britain. Three years later we achieved the 2nd place of standard excellence among 784 schools from 60 countries around the world.

Diploma of excellency

Academia is the only private College of Short-Cycle Higher Education in Slovenia that received the Diploma of Excellency for Short-Cycle Higher Education Institutions, following the Higher Learning model of the Republic of Slovenia.

National awards of the Slovenian Institute for Adult Education for a contribution toward the development of the quality of education.

Academia received both national awards from the Slovenian Institute for Adult Education (as an institution and the director as an individual), specifically for the contribution towards the development of quality in Adult Education Programmes in the Republic of Slovenia and for the transfer of this knowledge into the wide environment.

AAA Bisnode Credit rating

Academia is consecutively receiving the highest credit ratings. The credit rating of excellence is calculated by the company Bisnode, by assessing specific criteria of reliability and credibility. After consecutive annual achievement of the highest credit rating class, the business entity recieves one of three excellence ratings: A, AA or AAA.

Excellent SME

The certificate Excellent SME Slovenia indicates the company’s good credit rating and safe administration, awarded annually by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, under the authorization of the credit score agency COFACE Slovenia, which is part of the international organization COFACE, present in 200 countries.

Award for Outstanding Achievements

Managing Director of the College, Žan Dapčevič, received in 2019 the Association of Slovene higher vocational colleges Award for Outstanding Achievements in the field of international collaboration and exchange of experience in Short-Cycle Higher Education.

Golden knight for best foreign film

The Maribor studio crew of the National Radio-Television of Slovenia and the expert associates of the Media Production study programme of Academia, recieved the Golden knight award for best foreign language film on the 34. International sport film festival in Palermo, Italy.

IMPLETUM Award

As part of a collaboration with the Ministry’s of Education, Science and Sport project IMPLETUM, Academia received the award for the establishment of the quality assurance system within the Short-Cycle Higher Education system.
