Media production students on a tour of the PRO PLUS media house, the VIBA Film studio and the Computer Museum

On Tuesday, 22 April 2024, students of the Media Production higher education programme visited the leading media company in Slovenia, PRO PLUS, the film studio VIBA Film, and concluded their excursion with a visit to the Computer Museum in Ljubljana as part of the course Project Work in Video Production.

On 22 April 2024, students of Media Production at VSŠ Academia went on a professional excursion, which included a visit to three important sites related to video production and technological heritage of Slovenia. The event started at 10:00 a.m. when the students gathered in front of the premises of the media house PRO PLUS. There, they gave a one-hour presentation, which included an insight into the professional production of television content.

After the tour, they boarded the bus to their next destination. At 12.30 pm, they visited the Viba Film Studio, where they witnessed the fascinating world of film production.

At 15.00 they entered the Computer Museum, where a two-hour programme awaited them. First, they had a guided tour of the “Historical Exhibition”, which lasted 45 minutes, followed by an additional 15 minutes to explore the exhibits on their own. They then took part in an additional teaching module on the occasion of the exhibition “The Glass Room – Misinformation”, which lasted another 45 minutes.
