Guest lecture by Simona Lobnik Ambrožič, a specialist in psychodynamics, group management and a business consultant at EVRA agency

V okviru predmeta Poslovna komuniciranje in vodenje  je gostujoče predavanje za študente programov Gradbeništvo, Strojništvo, Varovanje ter Programsko in Sistemsko inženirstvo vodila ga. Simona Lobnik Ambrožič, Sistemsko psihodinamično organizacijsko trenerko, specialistko za vodenje skupin in poslovno svetovalko pri agenciji EVRA.

Within the Business Communication and Management course, a guest lecture for students of the Construction & Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Security Engineering, Network and Software Computing  programmes was given by Ms. Simona Lobnik Ambrožič, System Psychodynamic Organisational Trainer, Team Management Specialist and Business Consultant at EVRA.

The main topic of the guest lecture was “Developing and building relationships within working groups”. The guest lecture started with the individual’s autonomy or the individual’s development based on which the building blocks of the group’s identity were then presented, which were influenced by the development of the individuals within it. The developmental stages in the group process were described using the example of meeting classmates at the beginning of the academic year. The guest lecture students also participated in the discussion with their own experiences.

This was followed by a categorization of groups into projective identification (the group identifies the leader, his/her abilities, unified goals are set, envy also appears) and aggressive object relations (scapegoat phenomenon, unstable dependence, weakest and strongest member). The guest lecturer concluded the lecture with the “closing” of the group, which includes the dynamics of group refinement, where the group separates from the group leader, members start to associate with each other less and less due to different tempos, psychological distress or immediately stop contact based on a conflict at the end of the gathering.
