Accreditations
Accreditations are one of the ways of assuring the quality of education. It is a process, with which Academia proves the fulfillment of quality standards of the relevant accreditation body. The purpose of accreditation bodies is primarily to ensure students, through the periodical monitoring of study programmes, the attitude of lecturers and employees toward students and promote constant development.
Only institutions that offer good educational services for students may be accredited. The accreditations offer assurance that you will receive high quality services. Academia is constantly evaluated by numerous accreditation bodies and it not only achieves, it surpasses the required standards of implementing and assuring the quality of our education.
Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia
Regulates the accreditation of higher vocational programs and higher vocational schools. The ministry monitors the material and staffing conditions and offers the higher vocational collage the permission for the execution of officially recognized study programmes.
Pearson BTEC
BTEC is an accreditation body of secondary and post-secondary professional programs in England and an accreditation body for other study programmes. BTEC programs are the most prevalent higher education programmes in the world. They are being held on more than 3000 schools and higher education institutions in 70 countries around the world. The accreditation enables the execution of Britain’s higher education programmes in Slovenia.
The Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency
SQLL is responsible for the development and performance of the quality assurance system in the Slovenian higher education system. It acts as a formal, substantive conscientious and advisory entity for all stakeholders and participants in higher education programmes, in accordance with the European development guidelines and other developmental guidelines around the world.
ISO 9001:2015
The standard ISO 9001:2015 was published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The standard is based on the principles of quality assurance that are used by successful production and service organisations. The standard specifically regulates the performance of the quality assurance system, in regards to the fulfillment of the needs of clients.
Slovenian Institute for Adult Education: Offering Quality Education to Adults
The project Offering Quality Education to Adults (OQEA) was developed by the Slovenian Institute for Adult Education as one of the instruments of developing the quality of adult education, by advising educational institutions on matters of self-evaluation regarding quality and help with ways of finding opportunities for future development.
Erasmus+ Charter 2021-2027
Academia, College of Short-Cycle Higher Education, holds the Erasmus Charter. Erasmus+ is the program of the European Union for collaboration in education, training, youth and sport, for the period from 2014 to 2020.
